In the huge and sophisticated operation system of modern chemical fiber plants, temperature control is one of the core elements to ensure product quality, process stability and equipment safety. Among them, ordinary industrial water chillers play an indispensable role as the “cooling heart”, providing stable and reliable cold source support for many key links.
Chemical reactor temperature control: In the production process of synthetic fiber raw materials (such as polyester, nylon, acrylonitrile, etc.), many polymerization or polycondensation reactions are highly exothermic reactions. The circulating cooling water provided by the Tekin water chiller (usually maintained in the range of 5℃-15℃) passes through the reactor jacket or coil to efficiently take away the reaction heat, ensuring that the reaction proceeds smoothly within the preset precise temperature range, and ensuring the quality and yield of the basic raw materials.
Cooling and solidification of spinning melt: This is the core link of chemical fiber production. After the high-temperature and viscous polymer melt is extruded from the spinneret, it needs to be quickly cooled and solidified to form a primary fiber. In the spinning shaft or cooling air system, the low-temperature water produced by the Tekin chiller is used to cool the air (through the surface cooler) or directly cool the godet rollers. Rapid and uniform cooling is essential for the orientation, crystallinity, strength and final physical properties of the fiber (such as strength, elongation, and dyeing uniformity). The stable low temperature provided by the chiller is the basis for ensuring the smooth formation of the tow, reducing end breakage, improving spinning efficiency and the quality of the finished product.
Process equipment cooling: Many auxiliary equipment in the factory continuously operate to generate heat, such as compressors, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, inverter cabinets, etc. Long-term high-temperature operation of these equipment will reduce efficiency, shorten life and even cause failures. The cooling water circulation system provided by the Tekin chiller provides a cold source for the cooling jackets or heat exchangers of these equipment, effectively dissipates the heat of equipment operation, ensures its long-term stable and reliable operation, and reduces unplanned downtime.
Condenser cooling: In the solvent recovery, distillation, vacuum system and other links, condensers are needed to condense and recover gaseous solvents or water vapor. The cooling water provided by Tekin chillers is the key to the efficient operation of the condenser, which directly affects the recovery rate of the solvent and the vacuum degree of the system.
